Craig W. Turner’s career has taken him down many related paths, all of which paint his writing with real-life perspectives on existing in the political trenches. Whether he’s writing science fiction, as in the popular Wilton’s Gold series or his latest sci-fi thriller, The Garden, or opening up the world of local politics as in his debut novel, Border Troubles, Craig’s experiences in government and on the campaign trail can be felt throughout the story.

With more than 20 years’ experience in media, PR, economic development, campaign management and government relations, Craig Turner has had the privilege of handling public education campaigns and advocacy for some of the highest-profile issues affecting Western New York and Southern Ontario. Craig is founder and president of Momentum Public Affairs, a public relations and government advocacy firm based in Tonawanda, NY.

Among Craig’s clients are World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara, where he serves as president of the bi-national organization, and the Buffalo Niagara International Trade Gateway Organization (ITGO), as executive director.

A veteran political consultant, Craig also founded The Campaign Coach, his national campaign management and training program for first-time local candidates, in 2015.

Prior to starting Momentum Public Affairs, Craig served as vice president with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, WNY’s regional chamber of commerce, where he directed the organization’s business development and government affairs efforts. In that role, Craig oversaw the organization’s endorsement and Political Action Committee (PAC) programs, and lobbied regularly in Washington and Albany.

Craig is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. He resides in Niagara County with his wife, Nadine, and their four children. He can be contacted by e-mail at or on Twitter
