Uploaded BORDER TROUBLES to Amazon.com today in both print and Kindle formats. The site says it’ll take 24-48 hours for it to show up online. Looking forward to that! It was a very interesting project and excellent learning experience taking the book from start to finish through the publishing process. It’ll retail for $8.99 in print and $6.99 on Kindle.
I’m particularly fond (if I do say so myself) of the cover art. About three years ago, my family and I were walking across the Rainbow Bridge, which connects the U.S. and Canada in Niagara Falls. I was near completing BORDER TROUBLES and had a specific vision for what I ultimately wanted to the front cover to look like. I snapped some pictures from the bridge and stored them. When I decided to publish with Amazon, I recollected that I’d taken those pictures and searched through my old folders (from three computers before). I found the one I wanted, stylized it in Photoshop a little, and it came out exactly as I had imagined standing on the Rainbow Bridge three years earlier.
Why is the picture so significant? Well, you have to read the book to find out!!
I’ll follow up here when it’s available!
